French resale platform Faume has raised €8 million to fuel its expansion across Europe

Paris, April 11 — French resale platform Faume has raised €8 million (approximately $9.1 million) in fresh funding to fuel its ambitious expansion across Europe, as the demand for sustainable fashion solutions continues to surge.
The funding round will support Faume’s goal to grow its platform from 45 French premium and luxury fashion brands to 150 partners across the continent within the next four years. The expansion will begin in the United Kingdom and Italy, the company announced Thursday.
Faume has already made inroads in the U.K., securing a partnership with the high-profile fashion label Victoria Beckham. In Italy, the platform is set to onboard several heritage brands by the end of the year.
Founded in 2020, Faume specializes in enabling high-end fashion labels to establish their own branded resale channels—allowing them to enter the booming secondhand market without diluting brand identity or losing control over pricing and distribution. Brands can integrate Faume’s circular model within four to eight weeks, launching resale programs under their own name and maintaining control over image and customer experience.
“To us, resale is more than a trend — it’s a strategic lever for sustainability and long-term brand resilience,” said Faume CEO Aymeric Déchin. “Our technology empowers brands to profitably engage in the circular economy, and the results speak for themselves.”
Since its inception, Faume has facilitated the sale of over 300,000 secondhand pieces, with 40% of those sales taking place outside of France. The company currently operates in France, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, and Italy.
Among the platform’s active partners is Soeur, a Parisian label that launched “Soeur Second Hand” with Faume. “We’re proud to offer a premium in-store take-back service, now available in 14 countries,” said Freja Day, Soeur’s managing director. “It reflects our commitment to a more circular and conscious fashion model.”
Faume’s announcement comes amid a broader surge in secondhand fashion investments. London-based resale platform Fleek raised $20.4 million in November to expand its global network, and Zara has also joined the resale movement with its “Zara Pre-Owned” marketplace, recently launched in the U.S.
As sustainability pressures mount, Faume positions itself at the intersection of luxury and circular fashion—offering brands a turnkey solution to adapt and thrive in the evolving retail landscape.
