Copenhagen Fashion Week has announced its highly anticipated lineup for the Spring/Summer 2026 season, set to take place from August 4-8, 2025.

This year’s edition features 44 brands, including international and Nordic mainstays, as well as younger talent, solidifying the event’s position as a leading global fashion platform.

The lineup boasts a mix of established designers and emerging talent, with a notable highlight being the introduction of designer Anne Sofie Madsen to the CPHFW NEWTALENT programme.

Joining her are Berner Kühl and Bonnetje, while returning brands include Henrik Vibskov, Sunflower, and Marimekko.

The four-day schedule of shows and presentations will also feature new names, such as IAMISIGO, winner of the 2025 Zalando Visionary Award, which comes with a €50,000 prize and production support.

The presence of both established and international designers underscores Copenhagen’s growing role in the global fashion calendar.

According to organizers, the event’s international positioning is a testament to the city’s “international positioning… within the fashion calendar worldwide.”

The revised Sustainability Requirements framework, piloted by participating brands this season, will take full effect in January 2026, further emphasizing the industry’s focus on sustainability.

Cecilie Thorsmark, CEO of Copenhagen Fashion Week, expressed pride in unveiling the SS26 lineup, which she believes affirms the event’s position as a leading global fashion week.

Despite the challenges facing the industry, Thorsmark noted the growing participation and support, highlighting the importance of a platform like Copenhagen Fashion Week in challenging times.

The event will also feature a new Guest Slot, awarded to Cecilie Bahnsen, who will showcase her brand’s ten-year anniversary. Bahnsen, who has since joined the official Paris Fashion Week calendar, returns to mark a significant milestone in her career.
