Microsoft has released Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 27881 to the Canary Channel, marking a significant milestone in the development of the operating system. Revolutionizing Voice Typing
The introduction of a new setting for voice typing is a major breakthrough, allowing users to control the profanity filter and tailor their typing experience to suit their needs. This setting can be adjusted by opening voice typing (Win + H), selecting the settings icon, and toggling the Filter profanity switch in the settings menu. This feature is a direct response to top customer feedback, demonstrating Microsoft’s commitment to listening to and addressing user concerns.
Empowering Narrator Users
Microsoft has also introduced speech recap in Narrator, a game-changing feature that enables users to access spoken content, follow along with live transcription, and copy what Narrator last said with simple keyboard shortcuts. The speech recap window can be opened with Narrator key + Alt + X and displays the last 500 stringsator has spoken. Users can also copy the last spoken phrase to their clipboard using Narrator key + Control + X. This feature is particularly useful for Assistive Technology (AT) trainers, teachers of students with visual impairments, and professionals who are hard of hearing.
